The Domaine de Bel Ombre was founded 250 years ago – and it certainly celebrated the anniversary in style! For the best part of a week, the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open at Heritage Resorts held the attention of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Created and organised by Rogers and involving the Heritage Golf Club, Heritage Resorts, Villas Valriche and other entities of the Group, this was the first ever golf competition sanctioned by three major professional tours. The event has provided a considerable boost internationally to the country’s golfing facilities, as well as unprecedented visibility to the Domaine and Mauritius as a tourism and golfing destination.
